Jean Baptiste's 686TLNX is a remarkably sturdy yet gracefully playing student tenor sax. The 686TLNX features a new neck design for improved intonation, redesigned key support arms and height adjustment screws, and it is outfitted with leather pads and metal resonators giving this horn a full sound with great projection. Also, an improved low C response affords the player that extra kick in the low end.

Designed with the growing student in mind, an adjustable metal thumb rest allows this horn to grow with the player and remain in an ergonomically correct position for comfort and technique. The high F# key gives this horn the full range that many student instruments lack, while stainless steel springs provide quick responsive action for reliable articulation.
