Today, we're very pleased to offer this Hallmark 63 Custom Bass w/Hardshell Case! Autographed by Hallmark president, Bob Shade! It has been very gently owned and is in beautiful, near-mint condition (if we told you this was a brand new instrument, you would believe us). Protective plastic hasn't even been removed from pickguard/input jack! Looks, plays and sounds fantastic! Original hardshell case is in excellent condition with very light, normal cosmetic wear. Includes FREE Levy's padded leather strap! We ask that you observe its pictures closely and invite you to contact us with any questions you may have.
FUN FACTThis bass comes from the collection of a longtime local customer and good friend of ours. Also in this gentleman's collection is an original '60s Mosrite Ventures bass that was loaned to Hallmark's luthiers to be used as a template in creating the 63 Custom!

Break through the sound barrier with the 63 Custom Bass!This classic bass offered in 1963 with daring design and punchy low tones is a classic! With improvements engineered by Shade, you will notice this bass roadworthy and ready for action! You will get every promise of top of the line performance, ease of playability, quality of tone and sheer luxury of finishes and appointments. This bass spells "luxury" with graceful classic lines in the carved top designed in 1959 by Joe Hall and Semie Mosley. You will notice with the 32" scale length and wider neck, this bass is meant to be played. It only takes a second to notice the sustain and tone thanks to our exclusive Hallmark locking bridge with solid brass chrome plated bridge saddles. Designed by Bob Shade each individual saddle has a locking pin under the bridge for stability and sustain. There is a solid rosewood tailpiece for beauty and tonality. This 63 is a "set neck" bass for that classic mellow tone with punchy lows. Get yours today!!!
