Custom Ensoniq ASR-X Advanced Re-sampling Recorder with SCSI add-on 16MB RAM 1998 Black & new encoders

This ASR-X comes with the SCSI expansion installed which is standard on the ASR-X Pro models but was optional for the original ASR-X. In my opinion the black one sounds better.

This ASR-X is overall in excellent condition and fully working. Please see all photos. This is my personal ASR-X, and the encoders were replaced with brand new ones a year and a half ago, so you never have the skipping knobs problem. this ASR-X is fully refurbished and works beautifully.

Overall the unit is in great physical shape except for the worn parts near the front as shown in the photos.

The ASR-X uses the Ensoniq MR/ZR synth engine, and is 100% compatible with ASR-10 as well as WAV/AIFF format sounds. You can also load and edit TransWaves on the ASR-X.
