Up for sale is an excellent condition Revive Audio modified DBX 160a compressor limiter with that also has our optional VCA upgrade installed and sounds excellent!

This unit is in good shape with some wear from use but looks very good overall.





The VCA is the heart of this unit and all audio passes thru it.

This service is an additional $35 normally is a really nice add-on that softens the knee when compressing and delivers lower artifacts when compressing heavy, which is why we recommend it with every mod we do on vintage DBX compressors.

This 160a also has our Revive Audio DBX 160a modification which includes a power supply modification as well as Burr Brown input and output stage modification and a number of trade secrets.

The service increases the headroom of the unit, widens the frequency response, lowers the noise and increases the three dimensional image.
