Up for sale is a Revive Audio Modified: Chameleon labs 7720, Dual channel, SSL Style compressor and power supply.

These units sound incredible with the modifications.

These are good sounding units stock but tend to small things up with a lot of distortion that subdues the audio.

They also tend to be a little odd sounding for professional duties but sound good for the money.

The modifications on these are the remedy to the shortcomings of the unit and put them in the same league as compressors costing twice as much.

This one is in very good shape with little wear and looks almost mint.

The service increases the headroom of the unit, widens the frequency response, lowers the noise and increases the detail of the three dimensional image.


On this unit we have modified both the input, output and buffer stages with Burr Brown high performance opamps.

Coupling and de-coupling is also performed throughout the circuit using premium parts for better frequency response, lower noise and more musicality.

The entire audio path is upgraded for the best possible bandwidth and lower distortion.

Values in the audio path are changed for ideal Buss compressor tuning.

The power supply is then rebuilt and modified for the highest possible rail voltage (the headroom really comes up) in the circuit and lowest possible noise.

It has been professionally modded by our technicians and given the seal of approval to go to work at you home or in your studio.

These are wonderful sounding units with a lot of dynamic range and big bottom end.
