Welcome to Musicdungeon, you are looking at a great piece. This is the Fender American Elite Jazz Bass. 34" scale length. 1.51" nut width. .88" depth at 5th fret. 8 lbs 9 oz.
The new Fender American Elite Jazz Bass is an active bass for the modern bassist who demands cutting-edge tone technology along with timeless style and fast, smooth playing feel.
The famous Jazz body is cut from ash for a lively and brilliant attack with excellent resonance and sustain.
It is finished in a natural gloss, showing off those gorgeous grain patterns. The iconic multi-ply black pickguard and chrome control plate complete the look.
All the Jazz Bass tone is carried by a pair of 4th Generation Noiseless pickups. These wonders produce classic vintage Jazz Bass tone and dynamics with completely noise-free performance. An 18volt preamp with active 3-band EQ allow for precision sonic adjustment and incredible tone fidelity.
The maple neck is designed for fast playing and effortless position changes. It features a compound neck profile that starts with a moder C shape at the nut and morphs along the length of the neck into a D shape at the heel. The bound rosewood fretboard has a compound radius of 9.5" to 14", which comes together with the compound neck profile to produce one of the easiest and most comfortable playing neck ever to come out of Fender USA.
Holding everything down is a HiMass Vintage Bridge that increases note attack and resonance for thunderous bass lines with huge punch and systain. This bridge even allows for both top-load and string-thru-body stringing.
The new Fender American Elite Jazz Bass is a stunning instrument made for the player in search of the highest quality, the best tones, and the utmost playability.
