Custom Fenton Weill Dualmaster bass 1961/3 dark red

Fenton Weill Dualmaster bass - this is a beautiful bass made in England between 1961 and 1963. It has a dark red finish with a black scratchplate which contains the two chrome covered Weill pickups together with two volume controls and an overall tone control plus a three-way pickup selector switch. The adjustable bridge is wooden and the tailpiece is also chrome covered.

The neck is bolted on and the rosewood fingerboard has 22 excellent frets and shows no wear at all after fifty plus years. The headstock in black as is the neck, has a long thin shape typical of Fenton Weill guitars and also early Burns guitars and basses too; and it contains the ''Fenton Weill made in England'' plate as well as the four on a side tuners.

This bass plays as it looks and is a rare model - very hard to find especially in this condition and a perfect match with the Fenton Weill Dualmaster electric guitar I have for sale. It comes with a non original hardcase.
