Product Description

1960's Hofner 500/1 bass in its original Sunburst finish. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original and 100% complete with the exception of the nut and part of the wooden piece underneath the upper portion of the pickguard. It even has its original hardshell case. There are nicks + dings, finish checking, a small piece of binding re-glued on the heel, extra strap button hole on the heel, extra screw hole underneath the pickguard, and other cosmetic wear including tarnished hardware. It appears the neck joint has been reset and is now very solid. All electronics work and sound great.
