New Kings Road Guitars, Europe's Premier Vintage Guitar Emporium are delighted to be able to offer for sale this all original 1966 Fender Jazz bass in Black.
What an awesome instrument, Worn but wonderful!
Invariably in our experience instruments with this much wear are the best players, Just can't put them down! This 1966 Jazz is super rare and pretty in Factory Black with the all important matching headstock. The rare for 66 unbound and dot neck date is October 1965 and pots are dated '66. Has a strange small area where its been shaved/worn at the end of the neck.
Weighs 9.1 pounds but technical specs aren't important when it comes to guitars that look like this. If it looks like we're excited about this bass it's because we are.
A superb instrument with tons of street cred and collectabilty!
