Custom Alleva Coppolo Jeff Andrews tribute P-J Bass 2007 Metallic Copper - PRICE DROP

Hey guys, I have an interesting bass here that I am considering letting go. It was a really fun project and turned out to be a stellar bass. The ONLY thing that keeps me from having this as my main 4 string player is the P-Bass neck width.... I just really prefer the slimmer J neck and I'm going to give another PJ a whirl that has the Jazz dimensions for the neck.

This is a 2007! Alleva Coppolo KBP-4 with an added Alleva Coppolo bridge pickup that Jimmy wound specifically for this bass. The bridge pickup is in the 60's position.

This bass has turned into my Jeff Andrews Tribute bass. I have studied with Jeff and consider him one of my favorite bass players and I have always loved his 60's PJ that he played from his time at Berklee all the way through his times with Brecker and Stern and even up until recently when he finally got a killer Alleva Coppolo Signature model. Jeff's Fender was always undergoing changes and at one time had a black pick guard, preamp and 2 jazz pickups, at one time had the bridge pickup in the 70's position - then relocated to the 60's position.... but I wanted to go for the current incarnation of his fender which was a PJ with a tort guard and passive.

Jeff's bass is olympic white with a faded Copper Metallic top coat and so that is what is on this bass. The finish was done by mjtagedfinishes.com They specialize in custom NITRO refinishing and aging. We went with a much lighter relic job than how Jeff's current bass is in and the finish turned out better than I even expected. Great smooth and soft feeling nitro!

The neck was untouched and being that it was already a 2007 we really just matched the current wear that was already on the bass.
