Custom Custom P Bass

Up for sale is a Precision Bass that I have owned since 1989.

This bass is assembled with Fender Parts from various years and is nicely balanced and comfortable to play.

The sound is amazing, very deep and clear. Overall, this classic bass is in pretty good condition for its age.

The body does not appear to be made by Fender and its body contours resemble those found on a 1967 Precision bass.

The maple Fender neck has a beautiful rosewood fingerboard and is in near perfect condition! The neck has a slim profile and feels wonderful to play. The headstock logo and markings on the neck heel indicate that it is from a 1983 '62 reissue Precision bass.

The bridge, pickup and controls seem to be Fender parts. The stamping on the volume and tone pots are: D32367 250K A 1376642.

According to Fenders web site, the serial number on the neck plate indicates that it could be from 1970.

There are numerous dings, scuffs and scratches on the body, most notably the scratches on the front of the body. The close up photos show some of these flaws which do not affect the playability of the bass at all.

The sale includes a vintage Fender hard shell case. The original orange lining in the case was very worn when I purchased the guitar, so I re-did it with cool zebra striped faux fur. The outside of the case does show its age a bit, but the case is solid and will protect the bass for years to come!

As this is a used instrument, it is sold in as is condition with no warranty.
