The Danelectro 59 DC Long Scale Bass marks the return of a 90's classic: a bass that combines the look and tone of vintage Danelectro basses, but in a 34" scale format.

The Masonite body is cut to the famous 59 double cutaway silhouette and is covered in the instantly-recognizable Copper Burst. The body is super-light which contributes to the bass's open and punchy tone and playing comfort. And it wouldn't be a Danelectro without the patterned tape body binding.

The woody punch of the 59 DC hits the amp via a pair of High Impedance, High Output Danelectro Lipstick pickups. These tubes yield a round, funky tone with superb clarity and hollow quality. Stacked Volume and Tone controls for each pickup lets your dial in your perfect voice.

The maple neck is amazingly comfortable and fast, also finished in Copper Burst. The rosewood fretboard is home to 20 frets and classic dot inlays.
