I've played this bass lightly for 25 years. Bought it used at Evans Music in Houston. Alembics have awesome sustain and were the first to pioneer through body neck construction and active electronics. Thank you Bob Weir...you deadhead guitarist know.

Full range balanced tone through all frequencies. Very responsive to right hand attack. Has Q-control allowing for an amazing range of frequency accentuation. Crazy versitile.

The only significant blemish is on the rear of the head stock. The previous owner switched the turner (crazy, huh?) and so there's three TINY screw holes there. I've switched the tuners back to their appropriate positions.
