The Herr Schwarz is Le Fay’s entry model , but make no mistake , NOTHING is missing – all Le Fay basses share their same proprietary pickups and preamp , the secret and exclusive sauce that creates the distinctive Le Fay sound. Same hardware too – the only component that Le Fay does not make are the tuners , which are the high end ones by Gotoh – the best tuners I have come across.

This is one hot and speedy 4 , able to articulate 1/16 notes as fast as you can play them , equally capable of providing the bottom to a grindy blues tune.

Le Fay basses must be experience to be fully appreciated – I cannot name any other brand that has the same character. These are among the very best basses I have played. Don’t believe me ? Play one , then you tell me. ISYN.
