Custom JOLANA JANTAR Bass 1988 Suburst

Actually, the latest model of the bass guitar on the Czechoslovak concern Jolana, launched into production in 1988 at Horovice factory.The body is made of maple. To give the necessary stability, the tool has two large lower swivel - scheme familiar to us even on Iris bass - in addition, such a "luxury" allows plenty of experimenting with the instrument balance. Maple neck with a plate of boiled beech has 20 + zero frets, aluminum guide the nut and a small markup  points, duplicated on the edge. Nut anchor displayed in head and neck decorated of artless plastic cover. Tuners - the late-type, with the mighty rods of large diameter slotted. Grief is attached to the chassis with four screws through the standard metal neckplate. Bore - 860 mm.Jantar bass obviously inherits D-bass , he got a massive bridge with separated saddles to accurately adjust the height and scale length of each string individually. Pickups - single and split, as well as typical transparent knob potentiometers (two volume and tone) and three-position pickup switch.Overall, a very good tool: Jantar bass perfectly balanced and ergonomic sample makes it very convenient. The only drawback may be considered solid weight, however, where you saw a good light Bass? In comparison with the D-bass the Jantar, of course, lost in the sustain, however, due to shifted to bridge sensors, wins in his plan overtones (and slap on it more convenient to play :).
