Custom Le Fay Herr Schwarz 2016 Satin Orange

Here is our Herr Schwarz 4 FOUR PIPE in orange.

It is the first Le Fay we have ever built with our Le Fay PIPE.
The neck profile goes into the body, it is a way to rout 30% less wood out of the body.
The benefit is a more stable part at the neck joint, a thinner rear side of the bass and herewith a great comfort.

The body is made out of ashwood, neck and fingerboard are made out of padouk.

With our Pick-up system FOUR this Herr Schwarz offers the possibility to call up 3 different pickup circuits with the mini-switch. Both humbuckers are simultaneously switched. The result is a classic jazz bass sound in the single coil mode, excellent humbuckersounds in the parallel circuit, and fat, fat, fat in the series circuit. The further administration of the PUs is then optionally equipped with 2 vol. pots or a 4-way rotary switch. Completed is the cokpit with an excellent 2 band electronics, and a passive treble cut.

This orange beauty is finished with an acrylic open-pored satin finish.
