Custom Ampeg ASB-1 Devil Bass Rare Solid Body W/Original Case and Paperwork and Ampeg Strap

Ampeg ASB-1

This is one of the last Ampeg ASB-1 bass's that was made.  Just before this model was discontinued, the last few of them were made with a solid Maple body - which was a big improvement over the most of the ASB-1 basses which were constructed with a plywood back and were prone to de-lamination and curving from the string tension.

This Devil Bass has all of it's original parts, it plays well - with it's straight neck and good frets.  The original finish is mostly intact.  The edges on the body do have some small nicks in it.

The case is original except for a replacement handle.  Some of the black covering has worn off of the exterior.

Included in the sale are some period correct document/papers including: an authorized repair facility list, a Scroll Bass owners manual, four empty packets for original Ampeg strings, a warranty registration card and the large envelope that the documents came in.

Also included is a period correct Ampeg labeled guitar strap.
