1890's Herschel Fenton "electric" banjo, in need of some of TLC...
Mostly in good shape except for the fingerboard. It's had the living hell played out of it! Will need restoration.
Tailpiece is patented 1891. Tuners are patented May 8, 1888. Most of the hooks and nuts match, except for 4 or 5.
Don't know if the head is original, but it's in great shape.
