Custom Gibson EB-0 Bass 1968 Mahogany

Looking for a great player's EB-0 bass? This would be it!

This is a 1968 (as far as we can tell) Gibson EB-0 bass that has been modified, as can be seen.
It's had a split p-style pickup installed many years ago along with a mini selector switch. It all works well and sounds good. The nut is brass.
Everything else appears to be original.
Neck and frets are good. Straight neck with nice action - the two photos were taken at the first and 12th fret. No neck breaks or repairs.
This is a comfortable bass to play being fairly light, probably between 9-10 lbs (sorry, I don't have a scale). It's right in there with a typical stratocaster as far as weight.

It comes with a non-original hardshell case.

Overall, this Gibson is in good shape. It shows typical wear for an instrument this age that has been played but nothing excessive and no signs of breakage or repairs.
Yes, it's not original, but it would be a great stage, player's or recording bass.
