Custom Vintage Ancient Mini Banjo With Buckbee Hardware Tenor 1900 Gold Shield Hardware

Oh jeez. Here's an ooooooold banjo and when I say old I mean like older than the oldest person you know. Like Emperor Palpatine old...if not Yoda old. Pretty damn old.

I think it was full size when it was made but was cut down to only 27 inches long. The pot is about 11 inches wide. A new headstock was put on (which probably mirrors the old one) and brass frets were put in. I have sort of tried to get the frets dressed and playable and it DOES play but it is not for the feint of heart. The frets are basically put on by luck. This little guy is VERY rustic. If you've ever played an old Buckbee you'll know what I'm talking about. Which brings me to my next point.

The hardware on the pot is from an old buckbee from the turn of the century if not before. Except for the tailpiece which is a newer addition.

Basically if you are looking for a collectors piece this ain't it. But if you're looking for an interesting unique sound and can deal with some pretty rustic weird technology here ya go.
