Product Description

Handmade Cigar Box Guitar. This is a 3 string, acoustic/electric instrument. It features a contoured, Hardwood and Red Oak fretboard laminated together for extra strength. There are 20 medium/medium nickel silver Frets hand pressed into precision cut slots. A very nice Ashton cigar box was used for the body and an internally mounted Piezo pickup with volume control is included. (Box is reinforced for extra strength.) This guitar comes pre-strung with medium G guitar strings and will be ready to tune and play right out of the box. Even though I am selling this at kit prices it is not a kit and there is nothing that will need to be assembled.

These instruments are handmade using some new and some used materials in the spirit of the original methods. There will be some flaws and imperfections due to the nature of the materials and the assembly process. However, none of these things will ever affect the playability and function of my instruments.
