Custom Eastwood Surfcaster Bass - Cherryburst with Case

Originally the Surfcaster bass was geared towards the "surf" and country crowd, but we beg to differ - To pass it off as purely these things would deny you the amount of fun this brings to the table. It's built from a bound, tone chambered mahogany body topped with Maple, with a  bolt-on bound maple neck and rosewood fingerboard.  It also features Gotoh style tuning machines, a tune-o-matic bridge and dual EW Vintage Lipstick pickups, handwound in the UK by Mojo Pickups. What this gives you is a surprisingly silky bottom end to the lows and an articulate bite to the highs. Switching to the neck alone brings out more of a jazzy smoothness and to the bridge alone gives you a punky kick!

The sound is not typical, but it covers a lot of ground, tone wise, and we almost guarantee it’s one of those instruments that will instinctively draw something new out of you - Whether that's a new idea that sparks a song, or an idea that breathes new life into something old, or maybe let's you find the tone you've always been looking for in that Sly And he Family Stone cover band you play in at the weekends!
