Keith Roscoe makes some amazing instruments. They're elegantly sculpted, well balanced, ergonomically designed & feature great attention to detail but most importantly the playability is amazing! This one has a highly figured maple top on an ash body & a really great sound. When played with a moderate touch it has a nice piano-like tone up top but still has plenty of breath. When you dig in the swamp ash body & maple top provide a big fat low end with great growl & plenty of cut. It is extremely playable, versatile & touch sensitive.

Bartolini soapbar pickups & 3 band 18 volt preamp with push/pull mid frequency shift gives the player total tonal control. Subtly fine tuning the natural sound of the instrument or altering it drastically are equally simple. The 24 frets on the maple fingerboard are perfectly crowned making playability a breeze. 35" scale helps keep the B string focused.

Roscoes are very comfortable to play. The bodies are well balanced & elegantly sculpted making them not only beautiful but easy to wear even for extended periods. Deep cut away & sculpted heel make access to the upper register  effortless. Hand carved diamondwood nut & Hipshot hardware ice the cake. 9 pounds 4 ounces.
