It being almost 100 years old yes it has dried out. It plays and sounds great like it should. The top had a crack that must have been repaired at some point in its life. The top caved in some at bridge however it plays perfect as no buzz or issues. May have had bridge repairs at some time again it is set up and plays very well. I see remnants of signs of a repair to the bridge area so someone set it up and repaired it some time in its lifespan. It is truly Koa nearly 100 years old and is in playing condition.
