Custom 3 String Cigar Box Acoustic/Electric

Handmade Cigar Box Guitar. This is a 3 string, acoustic/electric instrument.  It features a contoured, fretless, Red Oak neck built for playing slide.  A very nice Monte Cristo all wood cigar box (with a unique leather covered top) was used for the body and an internally mounted Piezo pickup is included.  (Box is reinforced for extra strength.)  This guitar comes pre-strung with medium G guitar strings and will be ready to tune and play right out of the box.  Even though I am selling this at kit prices it is not a kit and there is nothing that will need to be assembled.  


All of my instruments are currently being offered for sale in local retail outlets and on multiple internet sites.  Listings may end abruptly at any time if the item is sold in a venue other than Reverb.    

These instruments are handmade using some new and some used materials in the spirit of the original methods. There will be some flaws and imperfections due to the nature of the materials and the assembly process. However, none of these things will ever affect the playability and function of my instruments.
