2015 carvin JB5 for sale! This bass features:

Body: 1 piece swamp ash

Top: AAAA quilted maple

Neck: 1 piece maple

Fingerboard: highly figured Birdseye maple with pearloid block inlays and black side dots

Pickups: Aguilar super doubles

Preamp: Carvin custom 18v preamp

Hardware: Carvin gold hardware

Finish: 2 tone trans orange burst and tung oil finish on the back of the neck.

This is a great full, fat, and somewhat aggressive sounding bass. It was built in January of 2015. Carvin custom preamp layout: volume, blend, passive tone (push/pull active passive), and a stacked bass and treble pot. The neck profile is somewhat thinner that a normal jazz bass but reinforced with graphite rods that stiffen the neck and they don't over power the truss rod. A very solid feeling and sounding bass.
