There is an area of tiny specks in the finish on the back of the body near the tailpiece (see pic).

The Michael Kelly A O features the hard to find oval shaped sound hole on an a-style mandolin. The oval shape gives this mandolin a distinctive tone with plenty of bark�. It is packed with features including a radiused fingerboard, solid carved spruce top, abalone block inlays and a solid carved flame maple back.
